Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Contemporary Spanish illuminated initial and foliate border (leaf a1r) and rubrication, alternating red and blue initials with filigree decoration and paragraph marks. Annotations: 15th/16th-century underlining and marginal brackets and stars in preface only (leaves a1r-a2r). Extensive pentrials and doodles (leaves a1r, I12r-v, and rear pastedown).
